Our Spring Newsletter

More Than Emergency Response

The People, Partnerships, and Purpose Behind Lyme EMS

As Lyme EMS enters its next chapter following our 50th anniversary year, we’re excited to share our Spring 2026 Newsletter with our community.

Inside, you’ll learn more about our transition to Lyme EMS and what that change means for the future of emergency medical services in Lyme. You’ll also meet the volunteers who answer the call day and night, explore how our rapid response system helps bring life-saving care to patients faster, and learn about the many ways we’re working beyond emergency calls to build a stronger, safer community.

This issue also celebrates the remarkable service of longtime volunteer Karen Dahle, looks back on key milestones from more than five decades of service, highlights our Community Education programs, and shares how partnerships, outreach, and preparedness efforts help strengthen emergency response throughout Lyme.

Most importantly, this newsletter reflects what has always been at the heart of Lyme EMS: neighbors helping neighbors.

We invite you to take a few minutes to read the full newsletter and learn more about the volunteers, supporters, and community members who make our mission possible.
